Our itinerary

Chichén Itzá

Chichén Itzá, At the brim of the well where the Wise Men of the Water Live in Mayan language, is one of the New 7 Wonders of The World and UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most visited archaeological sites for its large concentration of culturally significant and ancient manmade wonders.

The core of the Chichén Itzá site covers an area of around 5 square kilometers with smaller-scale residential architecture extending for a considerable distance beyond that, while the tallest structure, the ancient pyramid El Castillo, also known as The Pyramid of Kukulkan is the most famous site. Historical records suggest that the city was in its early phases of development around 600-750 A.D by Maya for Mayan people from all areas of the Peninsula, mostly for its proximity to the the Xtoloc cenote, an underground source of fresh water.

Chichén Itzá is truly an astonishing masterpiece, as are all Mayan archeological sites, that speak for the fine and artful Mayan culture,
still being admired by many of us today.
