At tova travel, we want to make sure that you get the best experience and best time when coming on a tour with us. We believe in transparency, so we would like to lay out our values and the values you have when travelling with us, so you can decide if our tours fit your idea and your values.

While we always make sure to ensure quality customer service, travelling to foreign places may sometimes come with unexpected and unprecedented issues or matters, whether that is your flight being delayed, or it is not as sunny as the weather radar predicted in advance, or the buses may not be on time. It’s okay. We will readjust—there is always a way and we will stay positive and communicate.

Inclusivity

At tova travel, everyone is welcome on our tours, and everyone is welcome to share a meal with us at the table. We are open minded, respectful, and curious to learn about people; fellow travellers, hosts but also locals.

As a traveller, I do understand, that everyone is welcome, regardless of their gender, ethnic background and age. I am curious and like to learn about other people and I am able and would like to connect with others. Please kindly also make yourself familiar with our Code of Conduct.

Responsibility

We are aware that we have a certain level of social and environmental responsibility. We work with locals and create opportunities for locals in the respected destination, and whenever possible, we support accommodations that subscribe to sustainability and are audited in advance. With our programme tova help we support social and ecological programmes in various countries. We give back.

As a traveller, I do understand and I know that I as an adult, have a responsibility when travelling and I protect the nature, be kind to people and animals. I know that I am a visitor in a foreign country that is the home of other people and I take care of it just as I care of my very home, too.

Flexibility

At tova travel, we organise all tours with love for details and an understanding to curate and craft itineraries that are insightful and give you the best of time and holiday. And still, it may happen that we are forced to readjust, as things may happen beyond our control.

As a traveller, I understand that tova travel may be forced due to force majeure or third party decisions to change the itinerary or accommodation, while I know that tova travel will communicate this swiftly to me and make changes that are equally high-level service and suited the tova travel standard.

Expectations

We travel to foreign countries, whose cultures, traditions and habits may differ from your country’s culture. While we always ensure that you get high-level service, we also embrace cultural differences and stay positive and adapt to our surroundings.

As a traveller, I do understand, and know that things abroad may not always go as planned and things might happen beyond control. Customs may differ from my country and while I know that my host will be there to guide us on tour and I can rely on tova travel information, I also do my own research before I go on tour so that I am aware that I am in a different environment.

Free time and group activities

In all of our tour itineraries, we have included fun and meaningful activities, that allow you to experience a country’s culture or nature with locals to make sure you get a unique insight. We are also very aware, that when travelling with a group of people, even when small, we need time to ourselves to recharge.

As a traveller, I know that I have free time to spend on my own and I also can opt out of activities (except Cuba—you have to partake in every activity), if I know I need the time to myself to recharge or discover on my own. I let my tour host know in advance and I understand, that activities are not refundable.

Communication

We have an open communication policy, which means that we at tova travel maintain close communication with our tour hosts and operators, and travellers alike and are here for you to guide you through the booking process, on tour to ensure you have the best experience and we would love if we stayed in contact after your tour.

As a traveller, I know that on tour I can entrust my tour host any need or question I have, and I can raise any question or concern with the tova travel team. Before going on tour, I read all the descriptions, the itinerary, the hotel style descriptions, and the activities, and agree to the terms. I have questions, I do not hesitate to ask.
